CHAPTER 01 / About the app

A warehouse record should be understandable at a glance.

BinLedger is an offline Android utility for keeping track of products, bins, quantities and stock movements. It is provided by AHMED PLASTIC GODOWN in Pakistan. The core inventory experience is designed for use without an internet connection or an account.

01

Built for local work

Create records for the stock you manage directly on your device. There is no sign-up step and no online account needed for the inventory tools.

02

Products with context

Names, SKUs, barcodes and categories or descriptions help distinguish one product from another. You decide which details belong in each record.

03

Bins and locations

Keep track of warehouse bin and location information alongside quantities. These entries support a structured view of where recorded stock belongs.

04

Movements over time

Goods received, goods issued, adjustments and transfers are part of the inventory history you can manage. Local audit entries help preserve a record of earlier movements.

05

A business utility

BinLedger is intended for general business inventory use rather than for children. Its privacy practices reflect a tool focused on warehouse records.

CHAPTER 02 / What the app uses and does

From a barcode to a stock count.

The app works with the product and warehouse data you choose to enter. Some information is typed into inventory records; other information comes from optional actions such as scanning a barcode or importing a CSV file. These functions support searching, reporting and management of stock. No online user profile is required to use them.

01

Product identifiers

A product name, SKU, category, description or barcode can identify an item in your records. These values make search and stock organization more useful.

02

Stock activity

Received and issued quantities, transfers and adjustments record changes you make to inventory. The app uses those changes to support its warehouse management functions.

03

Physical counts

Inventory-count sessions and notes let you document what you checked. Counting records can be included in a full JSON backup.

04

On-device scanning

If you enable the camera feature, supported barcodes and QR codes are read locally using an on-device scanning library. The image is not sent to a server.

05

Files you select

Android’s document picker is used for CSV imports, exports and full JSON backup or restore. You control when to select a file and where to save an exported copy.

CHAPTER 03 / How your data is handled

A deliberate boundary around your records.

Inventory data lives in an SQLite database inside the app storage on your Android device. BinLedger does not request internet access in its Android manifest. It does not operate an advertising network or in-app analytics service, and it does not automatically transmit your inventory records to its provider. Exporting a file is different: once you place a copy elsewhere, the selected destination controls that copy under its own practices.

01

Local storage

Warehouse records are kept in the app’s local database. The stored information supports inventory views, searching, reporting and your own stock-management actions.

02

No automatic upload

The app does not automatically share inventory records with AHMED PLASTIC GODOWN or third parties. It does not need a developer-operated server for the described core features.

03

Optional camera access

Camera permission is requested only if you choose scanning. You can deny that permission or revoke it later through Android settings.

04

External destinations

A CSV, report or JSON backup can be saved through another app or storage provider. That external provider applies its own privacy practices to the exported file.

05

Readable exports

Exported CSV and JSON documents are not encrypted by BinLedger. Protect these copies, because anyone who can access them may be able to read their contents.

CHAPTER 04 / Privacy at a glance

Clear limits, written plainly.

The privacy policy describes a device-first inventory app, not a hosted warehouse service. Login is not required, camera access is optional, and data export is a choice you make. The policy also identifies practical limits, particularly around the security of exported files and audit records. Those distinctions matter when deciding how to handle business information.

NO ACCOUNT REQUIREDOPTIONAL CAMERAYOU CHOOSE EXPORTS
01

No required account

The app does not ask you to register or sign in. Product and stock records can be managed without creating an online identity.

02

No internet permission

Its Android manifest does not request internet access. Warehouse information is not transmitted to the provider’s servers by the app.

03

No ads or analytics

The app does not use advertising networks and does not include an in-app analytics service. The policy does not describe any ad-based tracking.

04

Permission when needed

The optional camera permission supports local barcode and QR scanning. General inventory management remains available without it.

05

Export with care

An exported backup may hold product details, balances, bins, notes and history. Such files are readable, so selecting a secure location matters.

CHAPTER 05 / Your choices and rights

Control the record. Understand the copy.

You can add, edit and delete product records, carry out inventory activities and counts, and choose whether to import or export files. Camera permission remains under your control in Android settings. Before a full backup replaces warehouse records, the app validates it and requests confirmation. Deleting local data does not also delete files you previously exported elsewhere.

Edit or delete products

Manage product entries in the app as your inventory changes. Some earlier audit entries may remain even after an associated product is deleted.

Decide on file exchange

Importing and exporting take place when you choose them. Keep exported CSV or JSON files in a location you trust.

Review restoration

The app validates a full backup and asks before replacing existing warehouse records. That confirmation is part of the restore process described in the policy.

Remove on-device data

Local data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Android automatic backup is disabled for this app.

Delete external copies separately

Uninstalling the app does not erase files saved in other folders, apps or cloud services. You must remove those saved copies yourself.

CHAPTER 06 / Questions answered

The details behind the short answers.

Several everyday privacy questions are answered directly in BinLedger’s policy. The answers explain where records live, when permission is needed and what happens when files leave the app. They also distinguish deleting a product from clearing the entire app’s local storage. For the complete wording, the policy page is the authoritative reference.

Does

Does it need a login?

No. The policy states that registration, login and online accounts are not required. Inventory information is stored on the device.

Does

Does scanning upload photos?

No. When you choose the optional camera scanning feature, supported barcodes and QR codes are processed locally.

Are

Are exports encrypted?

No. Exported CSV and JSON files are not encrypted by the app. Their contents can be read by someone who has access to those files.

What

What happens after uninstalling?

The app’s locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling or clearing its storage. Separately exported copies must be deleted from their saved destinations.

Can

Can audit history remain?

Yes. Deleting a product may leave an audit record of earlier inventory movements, as the privacy policy explains.
