PRIVACY POLICY — BINLEDGER Last updated: October 29, 2026

1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how BinLedger (the “App”), provided by AHMED PLASTIC GODOWN in Pakistan, handles information when you use its offline warehouse inventory tools. The App is designed to work without an account or internet connection.

2. INFORMATION YOU ENTER AND STORE

The App allows you to create and manage product names, stock-keeping units (SKUs), barcodes, categories or descriptions, warehouse bins and locations, quantities, goods received and issued, stock adjustments and transfers, physical inventory counts, notes, reorder information, and local audit history.

This information is stored locally in an SQLite database within the App's storage on your device. Some entries may contain business-related or other information that you choose to enter. The App uses these records to provide its inventory, search, reporting, and warehouse management functions.

3. DATA COLLECTION AND SHARING

The App does not require registration, a login, or an online account. Its Android manifest does not request internet access. It does not send your warehouse records to our servers, use advertising networks, or include an in-app analytics service.

The App does not automatically share your stored inventory data with AHMED PLASTIC GODOWN or other third parties. You may, however, choose to export files or save them to a location provided by another app or cloud storage provider. The handling of those files by that provider is governed by its own privacy practices.

4. CAMERA PERMISSION AND BARCODE SCANNING

If you choose the camera scanning feature, the App requests camera permission so that it can read supported barcodes or QR codes on your device. Scanning is processed locally, and the App does not upload camera images to a server. The App uses an on-device scanning library for this purpose. Camera access is optional for general inventory management and may be denied or revoked through Android settings.

5. CSV FILES, REPORTS, AND BACKUPS

You can choose to import product data from CSV files, export inventory-related CSV files and reports, and create or restore a full JSON backup through Android's document picker. A full backup may contain products, bins, stock balances, audit history, notes, and inventory-count sessions.

Exported CSV and JSON files are not encrypted by the App. Anyone with access to an exported file may be able to read its contents. Please store exported files securely and consider the privacy terms of any external file-storage or sharing provider you select. The App itself does not automatically upload exported files.

6. DATA SECURITY

Warehouse records are kept in the App's local storage, subject to the security protections provided by your Android device. We recommend using a device screen lock and protecting any exported records. The App does not claim end-to-end encryption or encryption for exported CSV and JSON documents.

7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your local inventory records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Deleting a product may leave a related audit entry so that a record of earlier inventory movements is retained. You can remove local App data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. Android's automatic backup is disabled for this App.

Files you independently exported or saved outside the App are not automatically removed when you delete in-app data or uninstall the App. You must delete those exported copies from their saved locations yourself.

8. YOUR CHOICES AND CONTROLS

You may add, edit, and delete product records; manage inventory activities and counts; choose when to import or export files; and allow or deny camera access. The App validates a full backup before restoring it and requests confirmation before replacing existing warehouse records.

If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in your message and may use it to respond to your enquiry. Email services may process that correspondence under their own policies.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

BinLedger is intended as a general business inventory utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use the App to collect children's personal information through an online service.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features or data-handling practices change. The revised policy will include an updated date and will be made available in the App and on the publicly accessible privacy policy page used for the Google Play listing.
