Create names, SKUs, barcodes, categories and descriptions for the items you need to track. These identifiers support product organization and searching.
BinLedger supports inventory organization, local movement histories, barcode scanning, counts and file management. Features described here come from the privacy policy and involve records you enter or actions you initiate. The app is designed to run without internet access.
Each feature has a concrete inventory purpose and a related data-handling detail. Some features use only the database inside the app; others involve a permission or a file you select. The privacy policy explains that those optional actions do not become automatic uploads.

Record warehouse bins and locations alongside product quantities. This links item information to the local places you use in stock management.
Keep records of goods received and issued. These activities form part of the local inventory history described in the privacy policy.
Record manual stock adjustments and transfers between locations. Audit entries can help retain an account of past inventory movements.
Manage physical inventory counts and notes. Full JSON backups may include these count sessions alongside product and balance information.
If you grant optional camera access, scan supported barcodes or QR codes on the device. Camera images are not uploaded to a server.
Choose CSV files for importing product data or export inventory-related CSV documents and reports through Android’s document picker.
Create or restore full JSON backups. A restore is validated and requires confirmation before existing warehouse records are replaced.
Records stay in app storage until you change, remove or clear them. Uninstalling the app does not remove files previously exported elsewhere.
Read the full privacy policy for the exact terms on local data, permissions, exports, retention and your choices.
